Action Research

What is Action Research? It's pretty much an inquiry system of research conducted by people in the educational field that want to learn more about the learning process and how they can improve upon it (Mertler, 2017). Teachers perform an informal form of action research on a daily basis when they reflect on how their lessons went and what they could do to improve them. Formal action research is made of 4 stages that contain 9 steps.

I am currently in the gathering information and the reviewing related information steps. I created an outline of my plan to guide me through the experience of action research.

I will complete the planning stage of this process over the next few weeks as I prepare to complete my own Action Research Plan on the importance of a technology integration specialist/coach.

I have a personal vested interest in the research project because I wish to learn the effect I have on other educators and how see if my position is of vital importance. Next Step, Literature Review!
